The shape of the metal tube has been chosen  to give more strength to the structure, to guarantee safety in any condition.

The"h" section of the tube was designed to be able to place the slats without adding unnecessary thickness. Therefore, not only it gives strenght to the slats but it laso gives the bed a more linear look.
